Fall cleanup
Leaves left on the lawn all winter can smother the grass under them. Your crew clears them off the lawn and out of beds after most have dropped. They give the lawn its last cut and leave the yard tidy before the snow flies.

When should I book a spring cleanup?
Book it once the snow is gone and the ground firms up. Walking or mowing on soggy ground leaves ruts. The right week depends on your city. A lawn in the Fraser Valley or Niagara often wakes up sooner than one in Thunder Bay or Prince George.
When is the best time for a fall cleanup?
After most of the leaves have fallen, and before the first lasting snow. Go too early, and the trees drop a second layer. Some people book two fall visits in yards with lots of big trees.
What happens to the leaves?
Each city has its own yard waste rules. Many want paper yard waste bags, not plastic. Your crew bags the leaves the way your city wants for curbside pickup, or hauls them away. Your city page lists the rules we could confirm.
Can I book a cleanup without weekly mowing?

Do you do aeration, sod or snow removal?
No. Golden Oak crews stick to maintenance: mowing, trimming, hedges and cleanups. We don't aerate, lay sod, spray weeds, install anything or plow snow.
